Salary and Benefits

This role offers an attractive remuneration package, with a starting salary of $89,549 + 11.5% Super, which will increase to $92,240 + 11.5% Super upon successful completion of training.

Job Description

This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as a Base Tradesperson. The primary responsibility is to work in a supportive team environment, trained in pre and post-production processes of aircraft components, exercising high precision trade skills using various materials and/or specialist manufacturing techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • Australian recognized Trade qualification (Certificate III or above)
  • Completion of a trade Apprenticeship backed with relevant experience working in your trade
  • Literacy and numeracy skills to follow and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings
  • Hand skills with a high level of attention to detail under repetitive conditions
  • Ability to work independently or part of a diverse team towards a common goal and to agreed deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy working with hands and physical work
  • Basic computer skills
  • Commitment to OHS procedures
  • Reliable and willingness to work afternoon shift is essential
  • Full, unrestricted working rights for Australia
