The Andersen Partnership is seeking a highly skilled accountant to fill this senior position. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional looking to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of comprehensive financial reports including trial balance, statements of financial performance and position
  • Preparation of detailed work papers and files
  • Analysis of complex financial statements and provision of expert explanations of key matters
  • Updating of permanent tax files with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Identification and resolution of tax compliance and planning issues
  • Resolution of complex tax issues
  • Calculation of taxable income and reconciliation to financial statements with precision
  • Preparation and finalisation of accurate tax returns and BAS
  • Completion of management account checklist with thoroughness
  • Identification and implementation of efficiency gains on assignment
  • Identification and resolution of complex tax planning issues
  • Preparation of finance submissions with clarity
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or equivalent experience
  • CA/CPA preferred but not essential
