This role presents a unique chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality care to families in rural and remote Australia.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing evidence-based midwifery care across the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal periods.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver midwifery care in various rural and remote settings
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and culturally appropriate services
  • Provide responsive, compassionate, and person-centred care
  • Adapt to clinical settings with limited resources
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as a Midwife
  • Minimum 3 years full-time midwifery experience
  • 250 hours relevant clinical midwifery practice within the past year
