Rehabilitation Specialist Role

This diverse position offers flexibility and autonomy, with a strong support team and global resources. As a rehabilitation specialist, you will manage your day-to-day work while applying your clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Manageable caseloads with the support of rehabilitation assistants for administrative tasks
  • Applying Clinical Knowledge: Improve return-to-work outcomes by utilizing your expertise
  • Developing Workplace Education Programs: Collaborate with employers and employees to implement injury prevention and workplace education initiatives
  • Collaborative Working: Work with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health professionals to achieve common goals
  • Client Exposure: Engage with a variety of clients, customers, and different types of personal injury schemes
  • Assessments: Complete Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific skills
Requirements:
  • Allied Health Qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Current Professional Registration with Relevant Governing Body
  • Strong Communication Skills for Building Relationships
  • Excellent Time Management Skills for Autonomous and Team-Based Work Environments
  • Problem-Solving and Innovative Thinking to Achieve Results
  • PASSION for Injury Prevention, Return-to-Work, and Associated Health Benefits
