As a specialist in data management, you will support and execute on activities related to the acquisition, maintenance, and disposition of data for various stakeholders. Through your analysis of data management standards, you enable our customers to make informed decisions and stay ahead in life and business.

You will interface closely with the business domain, business data owners, architects, system owners, risk teams, delivery squads, data governance, and data management team. Your role will involve providing guidance and support to ensure that data controls are defined, captured, and incorporated. You will also act as a subject matter expert (SME) to provide recommendations on data retention, deletion, anonymization, and migration activities.

Your key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to local and global regulatory guidelines and standards. You will attend relevant governance forums to ensure that data quality and integrity controls are built according to requirements. Additionally, you will recommend data quality and integrity controls across the life cycle of data and facilitate business sign-off for data management activities.

We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in tools that support data governance and management, such as metadata management, master data management, data lineage, and data quality. You should have experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams and possess strong data analysis and manipulation skills, including excellent knowledge of SQL.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience in business-facing roles in information management or reporting capacities, preferably in the banking/financial services sector. You should also have understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, data modeling, data analytics, and/or visualization.
