Job Title: Sentinel One Security Engineer – Brisbane

MARS Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sentinel One Security Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and reporting on endpoint security services, including anti-malware, endpoint threat detection and response, and application control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain endpoint security services, including anti-malware, endpoint threat detection and response, and application control.
  • Work with security vendors, including Sentinel One, Microsoft, Trend Micro, and others, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Liaise with other support teams, account teams, and customers to resolve issues and ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Support investigations of potential security violations, threats, and breaches.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to projects, including build, implementation, and configuration.
  • Assist in security assessments to ensure adherence to customer-specific security policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a medium to large enterprise managed services provider or a medium to large consultancy organisation.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with standard operating systems, including install, configuration, operational troubleshooting, and patching: Windows, Linux, MacOS.
  • 2+ years of experience in installation, configuration, and remote support of endpoint security-related products and services, including Sentinel One SingularityTM Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and others.
  • Diploma/Certificate/Degree in Information Technology (Security preferred) or relevant industry/vendor certifications.
  • Experience in customer service support, including handling and resolution of customer escalations, incident handling, and Priority 1 incident response.
  • Experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting dedicated and/or hybrid cloud workloads on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency with one high-level programming or scripting language.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts (OSI model).
  • Understanding of core infrastructure technologies.
  • Understanding of known IT security control functions.
  • Understanding of Australian ISM, Essential 8, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and/or other industry-recognised security frameworks/standards.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Only candidates able to gain or currently holding a current Australian Federal Government Security Clearance at Baseline will be considered for this role. Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
