The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) is a regulatory body responsible for ensuring schools, employers, and education providers meet quality standards.
This role provides high-level strategic advice on regulatory matters to the CEO, VRQA Board, and its committees. Key responsibilities include strategic oversight of registrations, leading complex regulatory reform, reviews, and investigations, as well as cultivating strong relationships across government, peak bodies, schools, and other stakeholders.

You will lead a team of 30 and drive a values-based culture of excellence. Your expertise will help shape contemporary regulatory frameworks.
Key Qualifications- Executive-level experience in regulation or similar government contexts with experience working with Boards or governance structures
- Extensive experience developing and managing strategic policy, policy analysis, and leading sensitive projects
- Deep understanding of regulatory and legislative frameworks
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
