About the Role

As a Logistics Supply Specialist with the New Zealand Defence Force, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ships and naval establishments. Your expertise in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and equipment ordering will be essential to our success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of equipment and supplies to our ships and shore-based facilities
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Work closely with our ship's crew to ensure they have the necessary resources to operate effectively
  • Collaborate with our logistics team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance our supply chain operations
What You'll Need:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
