We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Young People: First Nations Arts professional to join our team.
The Youth First Nations Arts and Culture Project Fund aims to support creative practice and career development across all art forms, excluding screen and film projects. The fund seeks to build the capacity of First Nations young people by developing skills, career pathways, marketing, and audience development to sustain and elevate practice and engagement in the arts and cultural sectors and creative industries.
Key Objectives:
- Develop skills and career pathways for First Nations young people
- Build marketing and audience development capabilities
- Sustain and elevate practice and engagement in the arts and cultural sectors
About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the growth and development of First Nations young people in the arts sector. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work on a range of projects and initiatives that align with our mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of project plans and strategies
- Contribute to the creation of new work and practice-based research
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the arts sector and a passion for supporting First Nations young people. You will also need to possess excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
