Job Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis for a period of 2-3 months. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager on various core activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, analysis, and audit queries.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Finance Manager in preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  2. Perform account reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  3. Respond to audit queries and provide supporting documentation as required.
  4. Support other accounts staff on ad-hoc duties and projects as needed.

Requirements

  1. A full accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent) is required.
  2. Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards is essential.
  3. Immediate availability to start within the next 2-4 working days is required, with a commitment to the planned 2-3 months temporary duration.
  4. Strong communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to apply yourself to given tasks.
  5. Highly systems literate and proficient in Excel.

What We Offer

The hourly pay rate for this temporary assignment will be between $50ph to $55ph (inclusive of leave loading) + super, depending on experience.
