Livestock Career Advancement Opportunity

Are you seeking a career that makes a meaningful impact? This 24-month development program offers hands-on training and mentorship in all aspects of the Livestock industry.

You will receive comprehensive guidance, participate in four leadership workshops, and have opportunities to work in both saleyard and branch environments. This experience will equip you with valuable skills such as compliance, sales, client relationship building, communication, marketing, social media, understanding finance, problem solving, negotiation, and team management.

The program also includes learning next generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements, and emerging technology.

Requirements:
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation abilities
  • Successful completion of Year 12
  • Worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock.
  • Be willing to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident – please note that temporary VISA holders are not eligible for this program.
  • Be vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn, strong communication and problem-solving skills and leadership potential.
