Job Overview

  • As a Construction Project Assistant, you will be working under the supervision of our Site Foreman/Leading Hand to assist in various construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To perform manual labor duties as required, including but not limited to concreting, carpentry, fencing, tiling and base preparation.
  2. To assist with planting, turfing, mulching and soil preparation.
  3. To operate machinery such as excavators, skid steers and rollers, where applicable.
  4. To maintain a safe work environment by adhering to Work Health & Safety guidelines on commercial sites.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and vehicle are essential.
  • A white card is also mandatory.
  • A basic understanding of hard landscaping techniques is necessary.
  • Familiarity with soft landscaping techniques is desirable.
  • Additional tickets and licenses, such as truck licenses (MR or HR), traffic management tickets etc. are highly desirable.
