Project Manager Job Description

The role of a project manager involves overseeing the scope and timeline of each project to ensure timely delivery that meets clients' expectations.

Effective project managers coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups to drive project progress forward.

Delivering projects that meet client requirements while achieving targeted profitability levels is crucial in this role.

  • Client Management: Meet with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that cater to these requirements.
  • Meeting Minutes: Prepare minutes of meetings and share them with relevant stakeholders.
  • Requirements Translation: Translate client requirements into system configurations.
  • Technical Collaboration: Discuss requirements with technical teams and seek estimates for submission.

Aid business teams in creating project documents, including request for proposals (RFPs), business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), workflow diagrams, estimation sheets, meeting of minds (MOMs), and proposal documents.

Provide product demos through virtual or face-to-face meetings to showcase project deliverables.

Manage project schedules and participate in performance discussions to ensure project success.

Offer post-project go-live support for resolving any issues that may arise.

Publish weekly reports on project status to superiors to keep them informed.
