Are you a training specialist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Training Specialist at our Distribution Centre. This role will give you the chance to enhance the capabilities of our team members and drive excellence throughout the organization.

This is a brand-new position that offers you the opportunity to make a real impact on our business. As a Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in coaching and mentoring Team Managers to ensure that our standards and capabilities are consistently elevated. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Innovative Training: Deliver engaging orientation and induction programs that inspire and motivate our team members.
  • Capability Building: Support DC labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments that drive results.
  • Coaching: Uplift individual and collective performance against business performance requirements by providing guidance and support.
  • Skill Development: Proactively manage skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with the DC Leadership and the Learning Manager.
  • Training Coordination: Coordinate training schedules and attendance to ensure maximum effectiveness.

We are looking for an energetic and vibrant individual who can bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to inspire and motivate the team. You will have the ability to confidently guide and realign team members to ensure adherence to standards. In addition, you will have the following:

  • Experience working within a DC/Warehouse in a high volume, multi-brand, retail or 3PL distribution/logistics environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal and labour hire staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
  • Understanding of CoR - (Chain of Responsibility) - Current Legislation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of hazard identification/incident management and investigation.
