We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Assurance and Monitoring Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing OBRM's Assurance Framework and Victoria's Bushfire Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Framework to understand the effectiveness of bushfire risk management actions and drive continuous improvement.
This is an ongoing position based in Melbourne CBD with hybrid work arrangements available. To be considered for this role, applicants must have experience leading monitoring and/or assurance programs to drive continuous improvement and instil public confidence. Strong technical expertise in bushfire risk management, including planned burning, is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as a tertiary qualification in science, law, economics, public policy, natural resource or environmental management, business management or similar.
