Senior Partner Information Security

The Senior Partner Information Security and Service Delivery at BOQ Group plays a crucial role in appropriately managing risk to deliver the required risk and return outcomes, by ensuring BOQ Group's risk management strategies are robust, effective, and meet our obligations.
This position focuses on managing technology, information security, and service delivery risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices. You will partner closely with Group Technology and Information Security to manage these risks effectively, providing trusted advice on issue and incident management. Additionally, you will conduct operational risk assurance reviews and deliver insightful reports, contributing to a proactive risk culture across the Group.
Your responsibilities will include supporting risk governance, end-to-end risk profile oversight including remediation, monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and frameworks, and supporting the strategic direction and growth of BOQ Group. This role is integral to embedding key risk management processes and ensuring the organisation's risk management strategies are robust and effective.
About YouYou have extensive experience in designing and leading risk and assurance reviews within the financial services or related sector, with significant expertise in technology risk, information security, and service delivery. Furthermore, your experience in 2nd line risk functions is invaluable, demonstrating your comprehensive understanding of risk management in financial services from multiple perspectives. Your deep understanding of the value an effective control environment brings to a business is complemented by your ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and meet timelines.
Your in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in best practices for control design and assurance, particularly relating to information security, technology, and service delivery, are matched by your strong grasp of regulatory requirements and risk management best practices. You possess excellent leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and are adept at effective communication and senior stakeholder management.
You excel in developing good working relationships and sharing knowledge effectively. Your proven success in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and assurance strategies is underpinned by a high level of personal credibility and influence at all organisational levels.
