Our organization seeks an experienced and passionate Clinical Governance Manager to lead governance systems, education, and frameworks.

Clinical Governance Manager Role Overview

The successful candidate will support high-quality care delivery through robust governance, risk management, continuous improvement practices, and oversight of clinical education across our teams.

  • Implementing and continuously improving the Clinical Governance Framework
  • Providing specialist governance and advice on clinical programs including palliative care, infection control, and dignity of risk
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary teams of Case Managers (including RNs, ENs and non-clinicians) and Nurse Educators
  • Supporting and maintaining complex care planning, conducting clinical assessments, and ensuring competency of care staff
  • Designing and delivering clinical education programs and professional development initiatives
  • Monitoring and responding to clinical risks, incidents, and compliance requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a clinical governance, quality, or risk leadership role
  • Deep understanding of aged care and disability care frameworks (ACQS, NDIS)
