Job Opportunity: We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to join our team as a Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Job Description: As a Portfolio Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic sourcing initiatives that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions to drive value and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions
  • Manage complex workloads and competing priorities to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to drive value and innovation

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement or commercial roles within large multi-national organisations
  • Experience in procurement category management, leading large-scale sourcing activities and complex negotiations will be highly regarded
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrable ability in running cross-functional projects/teams, delivering outcomes in a time-sensitive environment
  • High level of commercial acumen, with exceptional negotiation skills and extensive experience in engaging with suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and convince stakeholders, build effective business relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Significant experience managing complex workloads and competing priorities, particularly in procurement
  • Knowledge of airline ground handling and operations categories will be highly beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance and MCIPS qualification
