As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for day-to-day project management activities, ensuring safety, scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources are effectively managed.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of project management principles and be able to apply these in practical situations. With a proactive and detail-focused approach, you are confident in supporting financial and schedule estimates, monitoring progress, managing risks, and documenting key aspects of projects.

As a strong communicator, you will thrive in a team environment and be comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Most importantly, you share our commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement in delivering outcomes that matter.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • A relevant Project Management qualification;
  • Experience in applying core project management techniques;
  • Ideal recent and relevant experience in a similar environment / business sector;
  • Awareness of various contracting methodologies.
