Inter School Sport Competition Referee Opportunity

We are currently seeking enthusiastic referees to join our team for Inter School Sport Competitions in Term 4. The season runs throughout the term, with fixtures played every day throughout the week and primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons between 12:30pm - 5:30pm.

Referees will have the opportunity to work with client schools located in various suburbs and participate in full day tournaments. Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further refereeing opportunities throughout the year.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
  • Have a deep understanding of basketball
  • Possess significant experience in playing, coaching or refereeing the sport

This is a casual position, with pay rates starting from $40 per match. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of refereeing experience and be an Australian citizen or resident.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending scheduled matches and tournaments
  • Ensuring fair play and applying the rules of the game
  • Maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor
