About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd. As a key member of our AWS Infrastructure Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction-related activities for new builds or general capital projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Drive cost savings and schedule optimization while maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide construction management for initiatives aimed at increasing data center resiliency.
  • Review constructability of electrical and mechanical systems, and building designs associated with new data centers or existing data center optimization.
  • Develop project scope and equipment requirements, assist with request for proposals, and capital requests.
  • Ensure total project quality, including commissioning and integrated system testing, and oversee project execution.
  • Manage the Request for Information process during construction and coordinate construction administration with engineers.
  • Record and report key metrics to team members and management.
  • Concurrently manage multiple projects, including new data center building and capital improvement projects associated with existing data centers.
  • Provide operational support for installed facilities, including review of procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives.
  • Lead internal and external teams to deliver high-quality data center projects.
