Water Technician Position

We are seeking a Water Technician to assist in maintaining water systems and processes. The role requires following directions and ensuring compliance with all directives.

  • A current valid drivers' licence;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to carry out a range of different tasks;
  • A high level of computer literacy, with experience in Word and Excel essential;
  • A high level of mathematical ability;
  • Previous experience with water equipment installation and operation highly regarded;
  • Previous experience with reverse osmosis plants highly regarded;
  • Previous experience with water pumping, storage, and infrastructure highly regarded;
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities highly regarded;
  • The ability to work for extended periods of time outdoors in a physical manner;
  • The ability to work as part of a team, but also autonomously when required;
  • Good inter-personal skills, working co-operatively with internal and external contacts;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Reliability, punctuality, and motivation;
  • Attention to detail;
  • The willingness to adhere to health and safety, bio-security, and operational requirements.

A pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, and a pre-employment functional capacity evaluation will be necessary to complete. Reasonable overtime may be required to meet operational demands.
