Backend Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to fill a Backend Developer position in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have strong backend programming experience and be well-versed in component-driven development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implementing, configuring and upgrading environments for new and existing clients
  • Identifying and prioritizing technical debt
  • Building new product features for both our customers and our product teams
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Documenting changes and processes
Required Skills:
  • Back-end development experience with PHP, Laravel, PSR-4 and relevant concepts
  • Experience working with Composer, Docker, Git and CI/CD with complex web applications
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
  • Exposure to writing unit, integration and E2E tests
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Understanding of OO-design patterns, and Dependency Injection
  • Good to have experience in Fraud, Risk, AML, IDV, Linux, API-design or biometrics
