About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Financial Services to manage our business-as-usual financial operations and lead significant transitional projects.

This role will oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Accounts Payable function for AGIG.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and billing functions.
  • Collaborate with the Head of One ERP (Enterprise Application) on system and process improvements.
  • Lead the Financial Services stream for One ERP Phase 2 and the Multinet Gas Network (MGN) SAP implementation.
  • Support a values-based, high-performance culture through team leadership and engagement.
  • Oversee team training compliance and support continuous professional development.
  • Drive efficiencies in team deliverables pre- and post-integration.
  • Support the delivery of finance budget and risk management strategies, including audit and governance activities.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of accounts payable and receivable systems and processes.
  • Develop and monitor financial policies to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis for leadership, Committee, and Board presentations.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Strong SAP skills, advanced MS Excel proficiency, and experience with reporting programs.
  • Proven managerial experience in a financial services environment.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills with a deep understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience in infrastructure or regulated industry environments.
