Cloud Architecture Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architecture Expert to join our team and help shape the future of cloud computing.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in helping public sector customers navigate their successful cloud journey. You will solve complex technical challenges so your customers can focus on their business.

  • Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad knowledge of how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
  • Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
  • Representing Amazon well within a customer's environment and driving discussions with senior personnel
  • Interacting with software developers and architects to provide guidance and support

You will have the opportunity to innovate daily and define the future of cloud computing. As a trusted technical advisor, you will use your interpersonal skills to influence a variety of stakeholders from technical teams to executives.

Key Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and help deliver scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers' business problems.

As a member of our Public Sector Solutions Architecture team, you will work closely with internal teams and leverage a deep knowledge of our tools and products.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.

They must also have 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.

The ability to present to technical and business audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients, is essential.

Additionally, they must be able to work with Federal government requirements.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to work with Federal government
