Medical Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Educator to join our team at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). As a Medical Educator, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality GP training programs across Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide registrar support and education to ensure the delivery of a high-quality nationally consistent GP training program.
- Work collaboratively with the GP Training Program Management team to achieve the best outcomes for registrars and supervisors.
- Develop and deliver educational content for programs, including small group teaching and performance assessment.
- Support the development of educational content for programs and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Work effectively within a team environment and ability to work independently.
The RACGP is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. We have been supporting the backbone of Australia's health system for over 60 years by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.
We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.
About YouTo thrive in this role, you will ideally have:
- Medical education experience, particularly in small group teaching, development of educational content for programs and performance assessment.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative, conceptual and analytical thinking, and high level of attention to detail.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and ability to work independently.
