Social Service Specialist

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide direct services to individuals and families in need of evaluations and support.
Working primarily within the Health Department's AERS and MADC units, you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to clients in nursing or assisted living facilities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess client needs and develop individualized plans for care
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university is required
- Two years of experience providing clinical social work services is necessary
- Licensure as a Certified Social Worker or Certified Social Worker, Clinical by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners is essential
Contractual employees working 30 or more hours a week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage and leave time.
