Salary: This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $66,963 - $72,559 per annum, plus district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options. The total effective package is approximately $85,053 - $91,349 per annum.
Job Description: We are seeking an Aboriginal Community Wellbeing Worker to join our Specialised Early Intervention in Psychosis (SEWB) team. As a key member of our team, you will provide a range of services, including outreach to clients, planned transports, service brokerage, cultural input to service delivery, client support for healthcare follow-ups, healthcare advocacy, and short-term case management. Your work will be critical in promoting initial and continued access to holistic primary healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver culturally appropriate wellbeing services to Aboriginal clients
- Conduct outreach to clients and their families
- Provide planned transports and service brokerage
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide client support
- Advocate for clients' healthcare needs
