Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wind Power Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in maximising the performance of our wind portfolio, ensuring our assets operate safely and efficiently.

This specialist will be responsible for conducting reliability reviews, monitoring condition monitoring data, and analysing real-time and historical operational data. They will also develop asset intelligence systems to track performance trends and collaborate with stakeholders to address systemic reliability challenges.

About You

You may be an experienced engineer from the renewables sector or bring reliability experience from another heavy industry. What matters is your ability to apply reliability engineering principles and asset management practices to improve performance across distributed assets.

To succeed, you will bring:

  • A degree qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience applying Reliability Engineering techniques and Asset Management principles.
  • A strong understanding of HSE requirements and their practical application.
  • The ability to provide clear technical support to diverse and geographically spread teams.
  • Well-developed analytical skills, including root cause analysis and performance diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Possession of or eligibility/willingness to obtain Chartered Registration with Engineers Australia.
