About The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your clinical and leadership expertise.

You'll report to the Regional Clinical Manager for Tasmania and provide support to a caseload of participants, conducting assessments, writing behavioural support plans and programmes, and assisting with their implementation. You'll also assist the Regional Clinical Manager with providing clinical supervision and may support participants with particularly challenging and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships that positively impact others' lives.
  • Provide direct interventions through one-on-one and group sessions.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioural Assessments and create Behaviour Analysis Support Plans.
  • Train colleagues, caregivers, and support workers on clinical techniques.
  • Lead by supporting the Regional Clinical Manager with clinical supervision of the Behaviour Support Practitioner team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals like doctors, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement participant-specific goals and checklists.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a field related to Positive Behaviour Support or higher qualifications.
  • An existing NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
  • Strong professional experience in Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership, supervision, and time management.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports effectively and efficiently.
