Job Summary
The Business Manager 2 role is a key leadership position within the school, responsible for efficiently managing business functions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to lead and manage a team of administrators and non-teaching staff. They should also have strong communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interact with school staff, students, and community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the school's administrative team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth delivery of services.
- Develop and implement financial and accounting systems to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage procurement, asset management, and work health and safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with school executive and staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement change initiatives.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education and Training policies.
