Job Summary
Michael Page Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Operations Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the credit operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of credit management processes.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the debtor's ledger, including collections, payment allocation, dispute resolution, and reconciliation. You will meet targets for Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aged debt reduction while making informed credit policy decisions regarding customer trading status, debt collection, and order approvals. Additionally, you will manage the Credit Limit Exceed report and address disputed invoices. Your tasks will include collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely cash collections and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will also allocate payments promptly, identify high-risk customers, implement risk mitigation strategies, drive process improvements, and resolve customer inquiries.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess at least 3 years of experience in credit management. Excellent organisational skills, proven experience in effective cash collection, and strong proficiency in account reconciliation are essential. You should be able to achieve both personal and team objectives, demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, and have proficiency in Excel, including basic formulas. Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders are also required. Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP is a plus.
