About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Concierge Supervisor to join our team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a strong knowledge of the local area.

As a Concierge Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome and farewell to guests, anticipating their needs, and coordinating guest services. You will also be required to support and guide porters and concierge staff, coordinate guest services, and step in to assist other departments when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Front Office Manager with preparing SOPs for the hotel concierge services
  • Assist in the lobby to provide a warm welcome and a fond farewell to guests while anticipating any of their needs
  • Coordinate and fulfil guest needs by assisting with pre-arrival communication, transportation requirements, luggage storage and local recommendations
  • Provide a high level of knowledgeable customer service to our guests answering a very broad range of questions about hotel services and Melbourne CBD
  • You'll support and guide porters and concierge staff, coordinate guest services, and step in to assist other departments when needed

What We Need From You:

  • Exceptional communication skills ability to build rapport with guests quickly
  • Strong knowledge of Melbourne, able to provide personalised recommendations and tell the incredible stories of our neighbourhood
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working in Hotel Front Office or Concierge role in Melbourne CBD
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Ongoing availability to work rostered across 7 days a week including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions
