Contemporary Catering is seeking a skilled Weekend Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals, overseeing resident dining experiences, and managing our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and deliver high-quality meals that meet our high standards
- Ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, managing kitchen staff and resources effectively
- Manage compliance with food safety, WHS, and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with facility management, residents, and their families
Requirements
- Chef qualifications and experience in aged care
- Strong understanding of modified texture and dietary needs
- Food cost management skills
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Strong personal presentation and grooming skills
