Senior Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager to lead the development of our renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development life cycle of these projects from concept to financial close.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project development, with a focus on renewable energy. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including landholders, community groups, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage
- Oversee the development life cycle of projects from concept to financial close
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landholders, community groups, and regulatory bodies
- Manage project teams and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and implement project execution plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments
- Prepare and manage budgets for Capex and Opex, project schedules, and technical inputs into financial models
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position, with a focus on renewable energy
- Strong project management skills, with a background in technical and commercial qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, legislation, and requirements
- Contract and project management skills, with the ability to negotiate large and complex contracts
