Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized E-commerce Editor to join our team at Pedestrian Group on a 12-month contract basis.

The successful candidate will have experience in creating high-performing content across various affiliate pillars, including fashion, beauty, lifestyle, homewares, tech, and gaming. They will work closely with the Head of Editorial to execute the affiliate content strategy and manage relationships with key affiliate partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce e-commerce stories per week using data insights and a journalist mindset to create engaging affiliate content.
  • Ensure each story demonstrates excellent written and journalistic skills, as well as reflecting strong editorial judgment and adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the editorial team to optimize existing content based on market trends, SEO, and analytical insights.
  • Manage key affiliate relationships, including Linkby, Skimlinks, and Whistleout.
  • Regularly report on affiliate performance, wins, and key learnings.

Requirements:

  • Strong writing and editorial skills with a passion for creating high-performing content.
  • Experience in using CMS, SEO optimization, and amplifying content on social media.
  • A keen interest in affiliate content and understanding of what drives young Aussies to click, share, and buy.
  • A data-driven mindset, using tools like Google Analytics to optimize performance.
  • Basic photo editing skills and experience creating vertical videos.
