Compactor Operator Job DescriptionJob Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compactor Operator to join our team. As a Compactor Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our civil construction projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain our Compactor machine on various civil construction sites around Brisbane.
  • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards in line with industry and company guidelines.
  • Execute tasks with high productivity and precision, ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
  • Team up closely with project managers, wider site teams, and other operational staff.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow all company policies regarding health and environmental practices.
Requirements:
  • Valid licence and certificates required for operating heavy machinery, including VOC and SOA in Compactor.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and a Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card).
  • Experience operating a Compactor ideally 3+ years.
  • The passion to work collaboratively in a team and be able to work independently.
  • Commitment to work safely and efficiently, with strong attention to detail.
