About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our Resources & Industry Team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering infrastructure projects that transform communities and drive economic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the discipline team lead in civil engineering projects, effectively liaising with other disciplines and design staff.
  • Perform tasks related to primary design elements for engineering works on mining, general civil, and industry projects, including earthworks, roads, drainage, and services.
  • Assist with proposal preparation, design calculations, and drawings, providing leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and within scope, meeting client expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or related degree, with 6+ years' experience in an engineering consultancy.
  • Exposure to general civil infrastructure projects, with knowledge of Australian codes and standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at senior and junior levels.
  • Experience in leading smaller projects, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Working towards, or eligible to obtain RPEQ accreditation.
