Delivering exceptional support to individuals is a challenging yet rewarding role, and we are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Parramatta.

This position involves providing evidence-based, person-centred and outcome-focused positive behaviour support to OCA participants in community settings. You will work closely with the team to identify and implement quality improvement opportunities for service delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing evidence-based, person-centred and outcome-focused positive behaviour support to OCA participants in community settings.
  • Supporting the team to thrive as practitioners while working collaboratively with leadership to optimise quality of supports.
  • Identifying and implementing quality improvement opportunities for service delivery by OCA.
  • Contribute to a workplace that is safe, healthy and respectful.

The Ideal Candidate

  • We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who has a strong track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • You will need to have current registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Substantial experience in providing positive behaviour support recognised by The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework is essential.
  • You will also need to demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development is highly valued.
