We seek a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage technology and digital procurements for goods and services. This 6-month labour hire contract may be extended.

The Role Summary
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for hardware, software, licences and ICT contractor personnel.
  • Collaborate with technology managers and senior executives to deliver contract management and procurement solutions.
  • Provide guidance on procurement and contract management best practices, preparing and finalising approval documentation.
  • Assess and report on procurement and probity risks, manage tender evaluations, and drive project delivery within tight timeframes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end ICT procurements in a government environment.
  • Active Baseline security clearance.
  • Expertise in using government panels like the Digital Transformation Agency Marketplace.
  • Strong understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules framework.
  • Ability to navigate complex technology landscapes and execute procurement strategies effectively.

  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure best value for money.
  • Manage contracts and tenders, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
