Job Role:

Catering Assistants are crucial members of our team, dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

  • Food Preparation: Assist with meal planning, cooking and serving meals that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Service Delivery: Provide excellent service by ensuring timely meal delivery, maintaining food hygiene standards and adhering to legislated guidelines.
  • Dining Area Management: Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of dining areas, including dishwashing duties as required.
  • Support Services: Offer flexible support to the broader team in tasks such as laundry and cleaning, as needed.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Certification III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification is highly valued.
  • Aged care experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and building strong relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • Familiarity with Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes is necessary.
  • Availability for various shifts throughout the week is a requirement.
