Key Role in Tourism Operations

Kosciuszko National Park offers a unique retreat, combining comfort with natural beauty. Guests can choose from chalets to camping sites, surrounded by wildlife and snow gum forests.

**Job Description**:

The General Clerk will support daily operations and enhance guest services at Kosciuszko Tourist Park.

**Responsibilities:**

- Record, prepare, classify, sort, and file documents related to park operations and staff activities.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence; prepare and dispatch outgoing mail and packages.
- Operate photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines as needed.
- Prepare routine reports, such as visitor logs, equipment usage summaries, and maintenance requests.
- Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and maintaining the front desk area.
- Enter and update information into computer systems, transcribe handwritten notes, and proofread for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide general information about park facilities, opening hours, regulations, and upcoming events.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

- AQF Certificate II or III (or relevant experience).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to interact courteously with the public and staff.
