Join Our Team as a Critical Care Registered Nurse

St Vincent's Care Services is seeking two dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role:

This is a 24-month Transition to Critical Care Program affiliated with the Australian Catholic University (ACU). Successful completion awards the participant two subjects towards a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care) at ACU. Permanent positions will be available within our Intensive Care Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 2 years' post graduate Registered Nurse experience
  • Advanced clinical practice consistent with the mission of the hospital
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team
  • A commitment to continuous quality improvement and the person-centred care model
