Empowering Disability Support Professional

Our dynamic Day program offers an exceptional opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs to enhance clients' skills and abilities, promoting choice and control over their lives.
  • Support clients in developing independence for daily living activities, such as showering, shaving, toileting, and grooming.
  • Engage clients in recreational activities and facilitate learning domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and ironing.
  • Document client progress and create personalized support plans to achieve their goals.
  • Establish respectful and effective relationships with clients, families, and community members.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Disability/Community Services or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of six months experience working with people with disabilities.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and NSW Driver's Licence.
  • National Police Check certificate and NSW Working with Children Check certificate.
  • Eligibility to work in NSW and completion of COVID-19 vaccination.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with enthusiasm, open-mindedness, and dynamism.
