About The Role:

The Recruitment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a high-profile project in Australia.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with a wider team to establish a modern lakehouse data platform using Microsoft Fabric, ingesting validating and reporting on high-value client data.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with architects and technology teams on the implementation of a modern tech stack in Azure for data analytics, aggregation, and storage of data, as well as data feeds to downstream systems.

You will have the chance to make a significant impact in this central role, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Built finance data building lakehouses, Azure data integrations, and warehouses
  • Extremely strong SQL skills
  • 2+ years' experience with Azure cloud development building ETL's and Data Warehouses, Storage, Functions, Datafactory, and operational monitoring
  • Database design of both operational and data warehouse schemas
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric is desired
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
