About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering short-range mine schedules, managing weekly planning cycles, and collaborating across departments to ensure safe and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the weekly mine plan, presented to senior stakeholders with clear deadlines and visibility.
  • Exposure to expansion projects, including new cutbacks and satellite pits, offering rare planning complexity.
  • Embedded in a tight-knit, high-performing team with strong support and development culture.
  • You'll be working in a dynamic environment where your planning decisions directly influence operational success.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Mining Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Solid Deswik skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A drive to grow through doing, with support from experienced peers and a leader who values initiative
