About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Customer Service Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance to customers who require help during their journey\
  • Engaging with customers to ensure they have a positive experience\
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment at train stations\
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve excellent customer service results\
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge\
  • Meeting performance targets and contributing to the achievement of business objectives\
  • Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of our products and services\
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements\
  • Providing feedback and suggestions to improve customer service and overall station experience\
  • Actively participating in rosters and being flexible to meet business needs\
  • Giving priority to passenger needs and resolving issues promptly and professionally\
  • Actively promoting Sydney Trains' values and principles\
  • Foster good relationships with all stakeholders including passengers, employees, contractors and partners\
  • Supports Sydney Trains goal to become a diverse and inclusive workplace by actively working towards inclusion goals and targets set for people living with disability\
  • Candidate must be able to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation\
  • Own transport is beneficial as some shifts may start outside train operating hours\
  • Prioritise your task efficiently and effectively under minimal supervision\
  • Consistently apply safety protocols in all aspects of work\
  • Work effectively in a changing and dynamic environment\
  • Demonstrate high level of initiative, flexibility, reliability and strong communication skills\
  • Contribute positively to team cohesion and morale\
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues and management in achieving business objectives\
  • Achieve productivity targets in a timely manner\
