Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our investment team as a Senior Legal Advisor. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing property due diligence, contributing to transaction and development rights documentation, and negotiating joint venture agreements.

In addition to these duties, you will oversee portfolio management through the review of material contracts, dispute resolution, and provision of timely commercial advice. You will also manage external counsel, support compliance with relevant laws and policies, and engage with directors and investment committees.

A critical aspect of this role will be identifying, mitigating, and managing legal risks across all residential investment activities.

About You:
  • Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years PQE) in property development law and/or corporate transactions, with a strong background in large-scale deals
  • Current Practicing Certification and qualifications to practice law in an Australian jurisdiction
  • Experience negotiating joint venture agreements associated with property development, with a focus on stakeholder management
  • The ability to take a lead role in complex investment transactions, prioritizing workstreams and managing relationships
  • Strong project management skills, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Demonstrated sound judgment, attention to detail, and self-motivation
