Lecturer in Pathology

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Pathology at UNSW as a Lecturer in Pathology, education focused. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to undergraduate teaching within the discipline of Pathology and collaborate with other disciplines in the School of Biomedical Sciences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate students in Pathology, developing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical classes;
  • Convene and evaluate courses, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes for students;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative educational technologies and online delivery methods;
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to improve teaching effectiveness;
  • Maintain currency with developments in Pathology and related fields, incorporating this knowledge into teaching and research activities;

Our ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Biomedical Science, Pathology, or a related field, and/or medical degree with relevant professional expertise. They will have experience in histopathology, effective biomedical teaching, and using educational technologies. A strong track record of teaching excellence, passion for education, and highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
