About our Building Audit Role

As a Building Auditor, you will travel to various sites across Tasmania, collecting information on the condition of buildings using tablets and other technology. Your primary responsibility is to record data accurately and efficiently.Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical and electrical building systems, documenting findings and recording data as directed.
  • Capture high-quality images and measurements to support assessments and reports.
  • Produce detailed reports for assessments when required, maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure data integrity and verify capture quality.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in inspections or data capture projects within large commercial environments.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel.
  • Current registration to work with vulnerable people or ability to obtain this registration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Familiarity with smartphones, laptops, tablets, and cameras, along with basic troubleshooting skills.
  • A professional demeanor and ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
